On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, Universitas Al-Muslim hosted an Inspiring Talk Show with the theme “How To Re-Skill & Pivot in a Rapidly Changing World.”
The event featured Bilal Faranov, S.Hub.Int., a young professional and proud alumnus of Universitas Al-Muslim who has also participated in student exchange program to Japan as the keynote speaker.

The program began at 09:00 WIB and was held offline at the MA Jangka Hall, attended by 250 participants, including the Rector and university leadership, Deans, Heads of Study Programs, and students.
The talk show was moderated by Tamia Umira, a student from the International Relations study program, and opened with welcoming remarks from the organizing committee chair, Risky Novialdi, S.IP., M.HI.
This was followed by the official opening speech by Rector Dr. Marwan, M.Pd., who highlighted the challenges awaiting students after graduation:
“The challenges you will face after leaving this campus are immense. In today’s ever-changing world, we must prepare ourselves by strengthening our internal soft skills, as real life truly begins the moment you step outside this university,”
he stated.
The Rector expressed his hope that this event would help students become more aware of the skills needed for their future lives.
Also present was Rusyidi Mukhtar, S.Sos., Chairman of the Al-Muslim Foundation Board of Trustees, warmly known as Ceulangik. His presence added to the enthusiasm of the event. Ceulangik emphasized:
“Students must be prepared to face any situation the future may bring. You are the next generation who will continue the leadership baton. Prepare yourselves, improve your skills — the world is waiting for you!”
Main Session
The highlight of the event was an insightful presentation by Bilal Faranov, S.Hub.Int.
In his talk, Bilal stressed the importance of having a sense of urgency to take steps forward in one’s personal growth.
Referring to his second book, “Which City Will You Settle In After Graduation,” Bilal described how the place where one chooses to live influences friendships, career opportunities, income, and overall life trajectory.
Bilal shared a powerful message:
“Never be afraid to start from zero, because those who start from zero will never judge others.”
Interactive Q&A Session
The talk show continued with an interactive Q&A session, also moderated by Tamia Umira.
The session was lively and engaging, with numerous questions from the audience, showing their deep interest and enthusiasm.
The atmosphere was so dynamic that university leaders remained present until the very end of the event.
